The Substance Abuse Program consists of specialized group therapy sessions led by clinical therapists. Our goal is to improve participant’s well-being by assisting in living substance free lives, improving knowledge around relapse prevention, building healthy relationships, satisfying daily activity, and improved ability to positively manage their emotional state.
The Substance abuse IOP and PHP programs primarily serve individuals struggling with substance abuse and those with co-occurring mental health problems such as depression, anxiety, mood disorders and others.
The program consists of group topics including but not limited to; Understanding triggers for use, Physiology and Pharmacology of Substance Use Disorder, Stress Inoculation, Codependency, Developing Healthy Relationships, Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills training, Developing Coping Skills and Emotional Regulation, and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT).
