I'm Ready to Take the First Step

Our Approach

to Your Wellness

1 With a personalized, in-depth assessment, we will create a collaborative treatment plan to assist you on your wellness journey. We can help you determine which program or therapist  will work best for your ongoing treatment plan. Additionally, our intake team will provide insurance coverage information or affordable payment plans to cover the cost of treatment

2 After your initial assessment, you will meet the counselors and providers that will accompany and support you throughout your journey. Sessions involve group therapy, and one-on-one meetings with your therapist and other treatment providers.

3 Through ongoing sessions, you will have opportunities to participate in ancillary treatment activities. With continual progress monitoring from clinicians, we will be able to adjust your plan to include additional services such as Biofeedback and psychiatry. We also offer specialized groups that focus on Mental Health, Trauma, and Substance Abuse for adults and teens.

4 As you finalize your progress, you will be given an evaluation based on your journey and a “graduation” of your success. You will return to your life outside of Coastal Turning Point, invigorated and with the support of your CTP family, ready to help you whenever you need it.

5 We always hope for the best for our clients as they return to their normal schedules, but we are always prepared to provide open arms and help with reentry into treatment  in order to move clients to recovery prior to or during relapses. Even if you are not encountering any struggles, we love to stay in touch with our clients through our alumni program.

Our process has been supported by affiliates like the CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists) and CCAPP (California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals), we also proudly hold the Best of Health and Medical Services – Santa Cruz Award in 2019. Alongside this, countless clients live happily having overcome their personal

challenges.

The Truth About Your Loved One

Addiction
Addiction is the THIRD largest cause of death in the nation. The hard truth is, unmitigated addiction puts the user at risk of death. Physical and mental development is impeded through the consumption of addictive substances, leading to a wide array of medical issues down the road.

Not only can addiction ruin your loved one's health and finances, but also their relationships. Within the United States, 80% of the population would not want a neighbor, associate, or friend that struggles with addiction. So not only is your loved one at risk of losing connections with those they have, but can actually be prevented from developing meaningful relationships with others, whether due to stigma or preference.

Mental Health
Approximately 9.5% of American adults ages 18 and over, will suffer from a depressive illness (major depression, bipolar disorder, or dysthymia) each year. This leads to cases of suicides, severing of family ties, and other tragedies that can plague a household with mental health unchecked.

The good news is that mental health, addiction and trauma can be treated!
